Castles of Poland
"La route des nids d'Aigles"
This tourist route is 164 km long. It links Krakow and Czestochova. It is with an estate of fortress built on rock peak by casimir le Grand between 1333 and 1346 todenfend against Jean de Luxembourg. These castles are situated in a such a way that their inabitants could communicate with each other with the use of lighted signals
Castle of Bobolice
This castle was built in XIV century by Casimir le Grand. A legend said there was a cave where knights hid a secret treasure. Before,remained ruins of the tower. Now the castle is being renovated to become a hotel. The castle underwent a lot of destructions, the last in 1657 by the swedish.
Castle of Mirow
Mirow is a gotic castle. It's the eldest castle of "La route des nids d'aigles". A big part of the castle resisted to the wars.The Mir family gave their name to the castle. This family occupied the castle in 1360. The Mir family had the castle of Kozieglowy, like other fortifications..
