Visit of Krakow
The legend of the dragon of Krakow
Arrival in Krakow: 09:30
We left the bus after a 2 hours journey, the guide was waiting for us. We went to see a bronze dragon, the guide told us the legend: In the old Krakow, which was still a small village elders told us that a dragon lived in the cave on the Wawel Hill. One day young people wanted to see if the legend was true: they went into the cave but they awoke the dragon, it ate all it could find. The king asked the knights to go and kill it but they failed, a little later a beggar asked the king if he could try, he agreed. The beggar managed to kill the dragon, the king allowed him to marry his daughter.
